Funeral Flame – Dark French Roast Coffee

Roast: Dark

Funeral Flame is a bold dark French roast coffee crafted from high-scoring African coffees for a deep, full-bodied cup with rich aroma, smoky intensity, and an unmistakably bittersweet finish. Roasted darker to draw out depth and weight, the beans develop a natural oil sheen while keeping acidity low and roasted character high.

In the cup, the profile is heavy, dark, and unapologetic. Smoky notes rise first, followed by deep roasted bitterness and a lingering finish that settles slowly, like embers refusing to go out. The fuller body gives Funeral Flame a powerful presence without turning the cup flat or one-dimensional.

This is a roast for those who want their coffee darker, stronger in character, and built around the richness of the roast itself. It stands up beautifully to cream, works well for bold brewed coffee, and delivers the kind of depth that lingers long after the final sip.

It does not whisper. It arrives dark, hot, and relentless.
